Where did you hang your calendar?

Just one respondent hangs their Hope in Shadows calendar in a yurt.

We were overwhelmed by the response to our survey last month when we asked people who had bought the 2010 Hope in Shadows calendar questions about what they think about the calendar and the project in general.

To summarize the responses we discovered that the annual black and white calendar is very popular the way it is - in black and white! However, there are almost as many people who would be open to a couple of colour photos sneaking their way into the calendar.

The design of the 2010 calendar was overwhelmingly popular in the survey but the decision to start the week on Monday got a big thumbs down. Sorry to anyone who's missed appointments or been thoroughly confused - you can be assured we will revert to the standard Sunday - Saturday layout in the 2011 calendar!

Responses to our question about new products was very helpful. A second edition of the popular award-winning Hope in Shadows book would be welcomed, as would a high-quality photo book, fridge magnets and collection of DTES poetry. Not so popular is an idea we had to sell Hope in Shadows toques!

As for the question everyone has been waiting for - where do people hang the calendar? Office was the most popular location, just ahead of the kitchen, with bedroom coming in a distant third. For some strange reason only one person hangs it in their yurt! :)
