Anyone can participate in the public vote on Commercial Drive on July 14 and at the Vancouver Folk Music Festival, July 16-18. This photo was taken at the Downtown Eastside community vote in late June.
Join us on Commercial Drive (July 14 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Grandview Park) and at the Vancouver Folk Music Festival (July 16-18) to see the winning images in this year's Hope in Shadows Photography Contest!
The Community Vote was held on the streets of the Downtown Eastside a few weeks ago, and now we're taking the photos around the city. While the Community Vote has decided the contest winners (to be announced at the calendar launch on October 5!) the public vote helps choose what images are featured in the 2011 calendar.
