Today at Waterfront station, calendar seller Peter Thompson and Hope in Shadows director Paul Ryan had their picture taken in a photo shoot for Vancity's 2010 Annual Report.
Vancity are Champion Community Builders and help Hope in Shadows in many ways, including sponsorship of the calendar, training of vendors and Vancity branches act as distribution points for the vendors. This year they held a new financial literacy training session to help vendors budget and better manage the money they earn from selling calenders.
