In 2008 Daniel Froidevoix videoed the Hope in Shadows photography contest.
This video shows the true spirit of the contest - the local people. Daniel Froidevoix: "I've been following the Hope in Shadows Project for more than a month now, and I've been truly touched by the stories that have been shared with me. This video is a glimpse at some of the hope I've found amidst the hurt in the Downtown Eastside."
